Visitors Guide
Some things to know when you visit…
SMH is focused on putting the needs of its patients and their families first. We are a tobacco-free campus and facility. Family members are important to the healing process and we encourage families to spend as much time as desired with their loved ones while they are recovering in our inpatient program – always ensuring that patient safety and needs are met first. Visiting hours may alter depending upon the patient’s provider orders.
It is always best to enter SMH at the main entrance, which is also the general entrance for emergency, surgery and outpatient services. Children should not be left unattended in any area of the hospital or other facilities located on campus at any time. For privacy of our patients and consideration of others, please refrain from the use of your cell phone in public areas of the hospital. In posted designated areas, the use of electronic devices such as cell phones and pages are prohibited.
When preparing for an inpatient stay, please leave all valuables at home.
Finally, while visiting SMH, please consider dining with us. Our Café is located on the lower level and we have a daily menu of nutritious and very affordable meals.
Thank you for making SMH your choice.
