Cardiac & Pulmonary Rehabilitation

Cardiac Rehabilitation

In the continuum of care for heart attack patients and for those who have undergone a procedure such as Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG), stent placement, Myocardial Infarction (MI), Valve replacement or repair, it is vitally important that you slowly, carefully and under medical and therapist supervision, participate in a well-planned cardiac rehabilitation program.

SMH Cardio/Pulmonary Rehab

The SMH 12-week Cardiac Rehabilitation program is designed with our community’s needs in mind and offers important follow-up cardiac care close to home and convenient for family members participating in care.

The program is covered by Medicare and most insurances carriers. Cardiac Rehab does require a physician order.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation

For those living with Asthma, Chronic Bronchitis, Emphysema or Cystic Fibrosis, treatment is a part of everyday living and therapy offers tremendous benefit. The SMH 10-week Pulmonary Rehabilitation program offers patients a warm, friendly and professional environment to undergo important rehabilitation with a goal of helping patients improve their overall quality of life.
