Hospitalist Program

A hospitalist is a physician who specializes in caring for patients while they are in the hospital. Their time is devoted to caring for hospitalized patients. Hospitalists manage and coordinate all aspects of your hospital care - from admission until discharge - working closely with your primary care physician and/or specialists involved.

While you're busy with your life, working, running to soccer games, taking care of your home and family, you could use a little help planning your family's health. At the SMH Family Health Center, we are growing our family of providers to help you meet the ever changing and demanding needs you have in order to keep your family healthy and well.

Our providers are ready to care for every member of your family, from infant to seniors and everyone in-between. At our convenient location, you can receive preventative healthcare and wellness services, as well as comprehensive medical treatment during times of illness. With the hospital campus in sight, should your provider write an order for an x-ray or other diagnostic service, there may be no need to set an appointment to return at a later date. One of the care coordinators at the Family Health Center can help you make arrangements to have your order taken care of same day and while you’re still onsite.

Our team consists of a board-certified family medicine physician, physician assistants, nurses, and support staff, all of whom are committed to providing you with care that is not only convenient, but also, delivered in a friendly and healing environment.
