For so many hospitals in Illinois and throughout the United States, giving is an essential means for community health organizations such as ours to improve facilities and programs that help keep families healthy.
The Shelby Memorial Hospital Foundation was incorporated in 1990 and is a not-for-profit 501(c) (3). Gifts made to the Foundation are tax deductible to the extent provided by the State of Illinois. The mission of the Foundation is to support SMH’s mission to serve the healthcare and wellness needs of our community. Through fundraising events, the Foundation can provide funds for hospital equipment, programs and other services that enhance patient care.
There are many ways to support SMH and your charitable gift helps SMH to continue to have the resources needed to provide advanced medicine, health and healing to families in the community.
